One says that in the south

After Philllip Island, we make a short hop to Wilson Promontory National Park says the PROM.

The Prom is a national park located at the southernmost point of mainland Australia. That is basically there in the Sea Bass that meet the Pacific Ocean and the Southern Ocean. If we do not go camping, the first difficulty is to find a room. This is necessarily quite far from the park. It is very large. It has peaks at 500 meters, great beaches. There are also kangaroos, emus and wombats. Once again we will not see any of the three. The animals are less shy parrots who enjoy the remains of the campers.

Australian national park are numerous, sometimes very small. Unlike their North American counterparts, they are free in the state of Victoria (In NSW, it costs 11 AUD for a vehicle).

Prom at several steps we are in the forest. The park has suffered fires. But eucalyptus are beginning to regenerate. The rain forest emanates sounds jungle. No there are no monkeys. These are the kookaburras laughing and noisy parrots.

    That evening we ate Indian.

View of the place further south (39th parallel south) where doubt I will go (unless I'm in Tasmania, New Zealand and Argentina which is unlikely given my situation)

    Le temps dure longtemps
    Et la vie sûrement
    Plus d'un million d'années
    Et toujours en été.
