I returned to Montreal in a big sea blue plane

Je suis revenu à Montréal dans un grand avion bleu

    We are in Canada.

We left Paris in the rain that followed us from the other side of the ocean. At the airport we had our car on a double-sized (once in France at time of booking and once in Canada): a big Dodge. The hotel upgraded us and we got an apartment.

In two years Montreal has not changed too much, although there is still much cranes. New buildings downtown have embedded in them. There are always so many bikes. After the rain, our second disappointment is that the Just for Laughs Festival is not started with street entertainment. It will be for our return.

I invite you to revisit my previous articles on Montreal for my comments would be about the same.

This time I'll give you a glimpse of street-art that has invaded the St. Lawrence and surrounding area. It must be said that there are a lot of walls more or less abandoned.

. There was even a festival in June.

  • So Cute

We are driving to Ottawa. The weather is not very engaging. We stop at Omega Park located halfway between Montreal and Ottawa near the village of Montebello.

There is a landscaped park where it is the visitor who is locked and animals (semi)freedom. We took a trip 12 kilometers into our vehicle passing in various areas: meadow with buffalos, mountain vith goats,  valley with bears... It is not worth to see them in the wild, but allows a condensed Canadian wildlife mammal. Therefore interesting to see.

Inside is reconstituted as a former post station and ancient farm to the delight of young and other cities.

On the route , a crowd of beggars fours we are windows with their tongue begging for carrots. Indeed the entry packets are sold carrots to feed the animals. He must leave tons. Obviously they are not clean or slightly rotten: beware of stains. As for the animals (mostly deer) who ask these cores, they should be saturated.

Here are some pictures of the young of the year: young wild boar, white-tailed deer,

  •  Ottawa federal capital

Here we are in Ottawa, Canada's capital. The city is on the border of Quebec and Ontario. She is bilingual, although we hear a lot more about English. Here the core of the city is the Parliament Hill. More generally there are many here Celebrate Canada (museum of history, war museum, show). Here patriotic fervor is required because the federation is young some provinces did not become Canada recently.

So we start with the light and sound that drives the parliament every summer evenings. The show everything to the glory of Canada is very well done with striking effects like virtual animation walls.

Day return to visit the building. It is free, in French or English.

    Ottawa capitale fédérale

It is the political center of Canada. It is home to the Commons and the Senate. This is where the monarch seat (ie the Queen of England) or more generally the Governor representing the Queen.

The building in neo gothic style (Tudor) Date 1860s sculptures narrate the evolution of the country. We find the Indians.

The comic elements (like any good monument):

A sculptor who made his self-portrait

From the top of the tower, there is a lovely view of Ottawa, Gatineau and the Ottawa River.

On Parliament Square there are other buildings such as the building of the West with its tower watching us:
